The Introduction To Robotics course is designed for students who are ages 6-8. This course focuses on teaching students basic robotics and coding skills using the WeDo 2.0 robotics kit, and basic programming skills using the WeDo 2.0 app. Students follow instructions to build their robots, then with help from instructors, code their robots using the in order to make their creations come to life. Students will also learn about how kit materials such as the motor, motion sensor, and tilt sensor work, and can be used to solve real world problems.

 

The goal of this course is to teach basic robotics skills, coding skills, and to get students to independently build and code their own robots with the materials in the WeDo kit.
